Clare Kim: Elected Fellow of the Diversity of Mathematical Research Cultures and Practices (DMRCP)
Clare Kim has been elected a fellow of the Diversity of Mathematical Research Cultures and Practices (DMRCP), which consists of a network of researchers within UNESCO’s International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences.
“DMRCP aims to coordinate the global research activities studying mathematical research cultures and practices, with an emphasis on using methods of the humanities and empirical social sciences, creating institutional cohesion for the research community that is dispersed across several disciplinary contexts.”

Clare Kim is an Assistant Professor of History and Global Asian Studies. Her work centers on the history of twentieth and twenty-first century mathematical sciences, exploring representations of knowledge and difference in US intellectual and political life.
