Clare Kim Receives UIC Institute for the Humanities Faculty Fellowship for 2023-2024

Congratulations to Clare Kim for being awarded a UIC Institute for the Humanities Faculty Fellowship for 2023-2024 to work on the project, "The Modern Subject: Transpacific Exchanges and the Racial Politics of Mathematics in America.”

Clare Kim is an Assistant Professor of History and Global Asian Studies. Her work centers on the history of twentieth and twenty-first century mathematical sciences, exploring representations of knowledge and difference in US intellectual and political life.
