Micheal Jin Promoted to Associate Professor
Dr. Michael Jin has been promoted to Associate Professor after receiving the final and official approval of his tenure by the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Michael Jin is a faculty in the departments Global Asian Studies and History. He is also a member of UIC’s Diaspora Studies Cluster. His research and teaching interests focus on migration and diaspora studies, transnational Asia and the Pacific Rim world, Asian American history, critical race and ethnic studies, and historical memory.
