Introduction
A new publication by Anna Guevarra and Gayatri Reddy based on their project about the transoceanic connections between India and the Philippines through the lens of Bibingka is now out.
“Bumbay” Bibingka: Culinary Crosscurrents between India and the Philippines by Gayatri Reddy and Anna Romina Guevarra has been published as part of the anthology, Eating More Asian America (Edited by Robert Jo-Song Ku, Martin Manalansan, Anita Mannur, NYU Press 2025).
